Marriage License
A marriage license is required to be married in Hawaii but is a simple procedure. The officiates of 'My Hawaii Wedding' are fully licensed by the State of Hawaii.

no residency or citizenship requirements

certified Hawaiian marriage license is valid for 30 days and may be obtained on the weekend (ask us for assistance)

you must appear together at the marriage license office

$60 license fee payable in cash only

your Hawaii Wedding ceremony officiate will file your license with the State of Hawaii following your ceremony

your recorded license will be received in 90-120 days or

you may expedite your license by filing the appropriate form and paying an additional $10 fee either. My Hawaii Wedding recommends this procedure.

A Marriage License may be obtained on the weekend. My Hawaii Wedding will email this information to you upon request.

Driving Directions: The Hawaii State Health Department is located on the NW corner of Beretania and Punchbowl. Driving West on Beretania, go one block past Punchbowl St., turn right at the next street, Miller, and turn right again onto Punchbowl. Public Parking is on the right in front of the Health Department building just before the intersection.
The Department of Health is closed on state and federal holidays.
